He continued, Dispora is ready and even pleased if asked to build sports facilities in the Bendera Pusaka Park. This opens up opportunities for cross-sector collaboration to maximize the function of public spaces.

"Despite the assets belong to another OPD, we remain open to collaboration," he expressed, Friday (8/8).

He explained that the presence of sports facilities such as basketball courts, volleyball courts, badminton, padel, and jogging tracks will support the creation of a healthy and active community, in line with Indonesia's national programs Indonesia Fit and Indonesia Healthy.

"If the park has sports facilities, I would definitely be very happy. Not only does it beautify the area, but it also fosters residents' interest in exercising regularly, encouraging the community to be healthy not only mentally but also physically," he stated.

According to him, residents are currently looking for a place that is not only enjoyable to relax in but also supports a healthy and active lifestyle.

He considers basketball, volleyball, and badminton courts as examples of facilities that can be prioritized because they are well-known and used by people of all ages. These facilities also prove to be highly attractive to residents in other large parks in Jakarta.

He also expressed his support for the plan to build paddle court facilities for residents as conveyed by Governor Pramono Anung.

"This kind of park would also be very ideal if it had familiar or trending sports facilities, like padel. Padel is popular everywhere but expensive, but here it's free for residents," he added.
