Central Jakarta held socialization related to arrangement plan on Jalan Mangga Besar Raya, Sawah Besar, Thursday (6/26).

The socialization led by Central Jakarta's City Secretary's Development and Environmental Division Head, Martuah Sitorus was attended by caretakers of RT, RW, LMK, FKDM, and entrepreneurs along Jalan Mangga Besar Raya.

According to Sitorus, the arrangement that will be carried out by the Bina Marga Agency ranks includes the construction of sidewalks and water channels on both sides of the road.

He admitted that the work will have an impact on traffic congestion. Therefore, his party held this socialization so that residents and entrepreneurs around the location can understand and support this development.

The construction of sidewalks and water channels along Jalan Raya Mangga Besar is to provide security and comfort to residents, while also making the environment look neat and beautiful.

Sawah Besar District Head, Rony Jarpiko admitted the area arrangement on Jalan Mangga Besar Raya needs time and resident's support.

"The arrangement is run for the sake of society's good," he admitted.

Meanwhile, Ayung (48), one of local residents, hopes the construction can be completed on time.
