The West Jakarta administration has provided compensation in the form of two months' rent for 98 non-Jakarta ID card holders living under the Angke, Jelambar Baru, and Grogol Petamburan toll roads.
Grogol Petamburan Sub-district Head, Agus Sulaiman said compensation was given for house rent to 98 families living under the Angke toll road. It was given at the Dutamas RPTRA on Wednesday (12/4).
"Compensation money for two months amounting to Rp. 1.5 million aims to help those who move to Jelambar Baru," he expressed, Friday (12/6).
According to him, the Jakarta Social Agency (Dinsos) also did the same thing. "Basic needs in the form of cooking oil, rice, soy sauce, and others are provided to ease the needs of residents who move into rental houses," he explained.
Even, the West Jakarta administration also gave compensation by Rp 250,000, basic food packages, and beds for 139 family cards living under the Angke toll road who would be relocated to the flats in Jakarta.
"The cash assistance was used to open a Bank DKI account for Rp 50,000 and the remainder was used to pay for electricity and PAM water for a month after moving into the flat," he explained.
He targeted the relocation of 139 family cards to several flats in Jakarta to be completed on Thursday (12/5). Then, the joint personnel would clean up the Angke toll road on December 11, 2024.
"We'll do a routine monitoring which aims to block those who return to live under the Angke toll road while waiting for the arrangement," he stated.
