Joint personnel of PPSU, City Park and Forestry Sub-agency, Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency, Satpol PP and Environmental Sub-agency Taskforce of Central Jakarta handled fallen trees in several locations, Monday (2/12).
Central Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Mila Ananda, explained there were 23 trees handled by joint personnel in Senen and Harapan Mulya Urban Village.
"Up to this afternoon, we're still handling fallen trees. The number could be change since it is still being handled and calculated," she explained.
Senen Urban Village Head, Henny Marojah said there were nine fallen trees in her area due to heavy rain accompanied by strong wind today's afternoon.
"We deployed 35 PPSU personnel to assist the handling," she said.
Those nine trees were on Jalan Stasiun Senen by six trees, on Jalan Bungur Raya by one tree, Jalan Senen Raya by one tree and Jalan Senen 3 by one tree.
"Based on the temporary report, there are no victims caused by this incident," she added.
Meanwhile, Kemayoran Sub-district's City Park and Forestry Implementer Unit Head, Jayadi, admitted there were two fallen trees in his area. One tree at Store House area at RT 07/02 of Harapan Mulya Urban Village.
"Then one tree on Jalan Garuda of Gunung Sahari Selatan Urban Village," he admitted.
