100 CCTVs have been installed in public and priority locations as the initial stage.
Then they also re-launched Jaki application and the logo of Jakarta Communication, Informatics and Statistics (Kominfotik) Agency. This re-launching marks the addition of 11 new features to the Jaki application.
The agency head, Budi Awaludin explained this program is part of Governor and Vice Governor's quick win program.
"The CCTVs installed on prone to fire and flood areas are part of collaboration with several companies," he said.
Budi added that the CCTVs are monitored daily and accessible by residents if needed.
Responding about the re-launching of Jaki application, Budi stated that the addition of the feature does not reduce the old functions such as public complaints. In fact, he is convinced that the addition of the feature will make it easier.
The 11 additional features include JakCare services, hospital service availability features, fast cash, parking pockets and panic buttons.
The additional features aim to accommodate information needs of citizens so that the public can interact easily, more quickly, effectively and efficiently.
"This super app integrates all public services of the Jakarta Provincial Government and also information on residents' needs," he stated.
